This pie is perfect for morning tea, or for a snack in the office. Also, it is good for dinner, and for a friendly party, it is able to decorate the festive table. The cook will need quite a few skills and a small amount of time.

Ingredients:

  • all-purpose flour – 2 cups
  • apples – 4
  • eggs – 5
  • sugar – 1 glass
  • sour cream – 5 generous tablespoons
  • baking powder – 1 teaspoon

Preparation

 

  1. Peel and cut apples into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Separate the egg whites and yolks into different cups.
  4. Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks, add sugar and whisk again until the sugar and whites are completely mixed.
  5. Whisk the yolks until they are almost white then gently mix with the whites and sugar.
  6. Add sour cream to the egg mixture and gently mix.
  7. Add flour, baking powder, vanilla and gently mix.
  8. Add the apples and gently mix.
  9. Put the whole mixture in a baking pan greased with oil.
  10. Place in the oven for 40 – 50 minutes.
  11. Check with a wooden stick after 40 minutes, if it comes out dry, then the pie is ready, if it’s wet, you have to bake it until it is ready.
